The Charleston Hot Shots 
 Will be the event Hosts.  
Jim and Cheryl Ravoira
 have been performing since 2007 in a skiffle jazz style while playing blues, ragtime, standards and folk music.

They have been hosting The Little David Music festival since the 2017, former Blackwater Ukulele 2011-2015, Uketoberfest, Ukoween, and Cukeout. .

Hear, guitars, ukuleles, bass buckets, kazoos, lap steels, dulcimers and harmonicas played with a unique jazz swing.

Joining the Hot Shots for the concert will be Steve  Lawson .  Steve has been playing a variety of stringed instruments for over 20 years. He plays guitar, banjo, bass, and ukulele.  He has made some of his instruments from scratch or kits.  Steve taught himself how to play using a discarded instrument he found in an alleyway in Savannah. He enjoys all types music from blues to bluegrass.  Olli Wendelin will be playing guitar.  

Ukulele Workshops

Beginning Ukulele This workshop taught by Steve Lawson is for the absolute novice ukulele player.  He will teach you how to tune, hold and strum your instrument.  Plus you will learn a fun song. 


Intermediate Ukulele Taught by Donald "Noodle" Whitley will help bring you to the next level of ukulele playing. by teaching a Chord Melody..


Donald "Noodle" Whitley Founder of the The V-Tones of Charleston and The Amazing mittens. Noodle is multi-talented musician and is highly regarded as a Ukulele players.   He has played with some of the uke legends.  Noodle can help guide you to the next level. Noodle will also lead the group Jam

- Signup for open mic the day of the evet, first come first up.
- All acoustic, no amps or plugging into PA
- Picnic coolers and lawn chairs are welcome
- Pets must be leashed and under the control of owner.  
- Alcoholic beverages are not permitted.

Nathan Miller

Nathan is a wonderfully talented, multifaceted musician.  He is an embodiment of what the latest wave of ukulele popularity is all about. 

From strumming, picking, tapping to harmonics, Nathan makes his ukulele speak in ways you dreamed you could. 

This is one performance you don't want to miss.



Mark Howell
 
Singer & songwriter extraordinaire, Mark Howell will be playing his original music.  A native of the area, Mark will be bringing his smooth insightful style to the festival.  Always a crowd-pleaser, Mark 's lyrics tell a story that make you feel the story as if it was yours. 



Keith Miller is an American Fingerstyle Guitarist born in Greenville, SC. His style crosses several genres from pop, to classical, sacred to easy listening. Among the highlights of his career to date are opening for virtuoso guitarist, Doyle Dykes, and recording with legendary guitarist and Christian contemporary pioneer, Phil Keaggy. His recording projects to date include solo and group albums. 

Keith is currently a regular performer on the Charleston and Summerville, SC, music scene. In addition to his solo shows, he also frequently books combined shows for the Music Speaks Project with his son, Nathan. Keith currently resides with his family near Charleston, SC



Lowcountry Ukulele Club The Lowcountry Ukulele Club will be on hand to kickoff our concert.  The club has been meeting since early 2000 and hosts two Jams a month.  Come on out and meet the crew.
