We are having a Cukeout at the Lake Greenwood State Recreation Area on Saturday April 10, 2010. Everyone is invited! Come to Shelter S-003.
The Jam starts at 10am until 6:30 pm. Bring you own food and drink and lots of ukes!!!
Well have and open mic session for those that want show of their chops!!! We'll record it for uke posterity.
Swap/sell table for those interested.
We'll be raffling off a 4 uke wall holder for those with UAS (Ukulele Acquisition Syndrome).

The Drummond Center

The beautiful Lake Greenwood lends its name to this park in South Carolina's western Piedmont region. This 914-acre park, built by the Civilian Conservtion Corps in 1938, includes 130 campsites, 4 picnic areas with shelters, boat access and The Drummond Center which houses the park offices and a conference/meeting facility with a walk-through interactive tribute to the CCC.
Camp sites are available to reserve . As of March 19 there were 16 sites available from $20- $23 a night and a primitive group site (must have a tent) for $10.
